Some trivia: The Sun Kosi is a river that originates in the Zhangzangbo Glacier in Tibet and then flows through the Chatra Gorge across the Mahabharat Range and on to the Gangetic Plain in India. The name "Sun Kosi" is Tibetan for "River of Gold".

Our two week rafting trip down the Sunkosi River in Nepal in 1983. The Sunkosi (Sun Khosi) river flows from Tibet to India through the eastern highlands of Nepal.
